PERMANENT LIPS

The lips, right after the eyes, are the most important part of the face. Thanks to permanent makeup, we can emphasise the advantages of our lips or hide their shortcomings. Scars, discolouration or defects in the colour and shape of the lips are the reasons for the complexes - permanent makeup effectively solves these problems. The advantages of lip pigmentation will be appreciated by people who want to enjoy perfectly refined makeup, without corrections during the day, without smudged lipstick and without everyday painting.

Permanent makeup will give you a waterproof colour, your lips will be optically enlarged and their shape even.

Remember that permanent makeup can correct minor asymmetry of the lips, even out their shape and contour. However, it is not a lip augmentation procedure, although you can optically achieve an enlargement effect. Lip pigmentation beyond their lip red is a mistake. When you want to enlarge your lips, fill and moisturise, decide to model your lips with hyaluronic acid. Permanent lip makeup and lip modelling with hyaluronic acid are treatments that complement each other perfectly. Keep adequate space between them and inform the treatment professionals if you want to combine these services.

Preparation for the procedure

As before any permanent makeup treatment, first of all, take care of the proper condition of the skin and its hydration. This will have a huge impact on the deposition of the dye in the skin. This is especially important in the case of the mouth. Chapped lips with an uneven structure absorb the pigment unevenly.

A few days before the procedure, perform a gentle peeling of the lips to smooth them. Use moisturising products and protective sticks. Take care of good health and rest. Permanent make-up treatment breaks the epidermis, which, combined with reduced immunity, increases the risk of herpes virus. If you have had the herpes virus before, consult your doctor about the dose of the medicine that will protect you against its recurrence in case of permanent make-up of the mouth.

Description of the procedure

Permanent makeup of the lips is preceded by a detailed interview regarding the health condition and the expected effects. Don't worry if you don't know what effect you would like to achieve. An experienced linergist will discuss various solutions with you, suggest the best pigmentation method and colour.

Time for some preliminary drawing. It is nothing but a faithful recreation of the shape of the mouth. It is a kind of visualisation before the procedure. When the drawing you made is approved by you and the colour selected, pigmentation will begin. With the help of a thin, sterile needle, the pigment is introduced into the skin. The lips are a very delicate area, a relaxing gel will be applied so that the treatment is not painful.

After the pigmentation is complete, the linergist will apply a moisturising and soothing product to your lips. It will soothe the lips that may be swollen after the treatment. Puffiness of the lips is your body's natural reaction to pigmentation. You don't need to be afraid of him. Swelling disappears within a few hours after pigmentation is complete, and in some people it does not occur at all. The colour immediately after pigmentation will also be more intense - the shade will gradually change in the following hours and days until it is fully stabilised. Before leaving the salon, you will receive post-treatment recommendations. Follow them - from now on, the effect of the treatment depends on you.

Post-treatment care

As after any permanent makeup treatment, you will receive post-treatment recommendations from your linergist after lip pigmentation. Follow them!

For the first 24 hours, rinse the pigmented area with a cotton swab dipped in clean water. If your lips are swollen, let them recover naturally. Don't apply ice, don't apply ointment. When eating and drinking, remember that your lips are fresh from treatment, approach them gently. Drink through a disposable tube, avoid hot, spicy foods and soups. Try not to let anything touch your mouth, divide the food into smaller bites. Your lips are beautiful, you want to kiss them. Stop. Kisses must wait until the epidermis exfoliates.

For the first 72 hours, the skin of your lips will peel off and the intensity of the pigment will weaken. Take special care of hygiene during this time - do not use the swimming pool, sauna, gym. Moisturise your lips with the product recommended by your linergist. Thanks to this, the exfoliation process will be quick and almost imperceptible.

Your permanent makeup will fully heal up to 14 days. Although the lips already look beautiful, still approach this area gently. Avoid sunbathing for the entire healing period. Continue to apply the moisturiser, and drink plenty of water to moisturise your lips from the inside out. It takes 4 weeks to stabilise the pigment in the skin. During this time, the colour of your lips may change from day to day - lose and become more intense, cool or warm. It's natural. After 4 weeks, the colour will be the final one. This is a good time to show up for permanent make-up correction. The correction will allow you to fill in any cavities and prolong the pigmentation effect. It's also time to slightly modify the colour.

If you plan to enlarge your lips after permanent makeup, wait at least a month after the last pigmentation - correction. In the opposite situation - when you first enlarge your lips and then apply permanent makeup - the time between treatments should be 3 months.
